Brandsmart Review

Brandsmart is insanely busy at all times and my recent vist during the holiday mayhem was even loonier than normal. Even with the madness and 80s neon overload, I managed to get great service purchasing my car stereo (mine was stolen from my office garage- awesome). I had initially gone to the Best Buy in Buckhead because I wanted an Alpine. Even though the store was nearly empty I waited 20 minutes and no one ever came to help me. I went over to the Brandsmart and was assisted right away. I got a cool Kenwood at a really good price (although you generally kinda get screwed paying for the install) that plays your iPod and has a USB so it also charges it at the same time. I paid right away- they always are well-staffed so you never wait to check out. The stereo was installed in 30 minutes and I was out the door. It was nice to finally have tunes again in my pimpin Civic.

This place is the Vegas of home electronics! Yes, the ambiance is a little jarring, but I wasn't there for a poetry reading. I was there to get a deal and I got one!! I got a great price on a 32 in. Flat Screen and I got really good service. THEY WILL NEGOTIATE, so tell them what your price range is and they will find something that will work for you.

All the neon colored prices and signs make my eyes bleed after ten minutes here, but the prices more than make up for it. Any time I'm buying new electronics or accessories, I'll make the trek to the 'burbs to check prices and sales here first.The prices are so low on some items, sometimes you'll do a double take and wonder what the catch is. Did it fall off a truck? Is there something wrong with it? It's the electronics equivalent of the Wal-Mart effect on gallon jars of pickles: so cheap that people think it's too good to be true.The layout is a bit confusing and jumbled, but you can find some amazing deals here...or at the very least some pricing comparison points.

Ok this place IS crazy! so go when you are most calm! It's like Disney World. I love this place tho! it's like electronics/gadget overload :) the last thing i bought was my Toshiba laptop- and YES they will negotiate! who knew? I got them down about $150 bucks- sweet!!!!!! warning- it is kinda like jail- they practically frisk you when entering and especially when leaving. they opened up every package that came with the new laptop to make sure everything was there. too funny. oh and i got a football to boot as a "bonus" for spending over $800. I also bought a flat screen TV for my bedroom- TOTAL BARGAIN!!!!!!! - if there is a small kitchen appliance or gadget you are looking for- try here first- i promise it will be cheaper than anywhere else. oh i also bought a water cooler for my bottled water i get delivered again, total bargain. and a little TV for my treadmill- price $9.99. so as long as you know it's a zoo- you can come away with a steal!
